As part of the business value delivery team, you'll serve as a strategic interface with assigned business units focusing on full lifecycle project value identification, alignment, and realization while developing strong business partnerships. Assigned projects and tasks may include, but are not limited to, organizational readiness and change management activities for the customer service and operations (CS&O) organization as well as partners in other business units. As assigned, you'll serve as project coordinator or project lead on moderately complex projects, coordinating business activities, monitoring results, providing status updates and project timelines to the business. You will also provide mentoring and training for other business analysts.
This role will be filled following our hybrid work model at our Stevens Point, WI office.
What You'll Do:
As a Business Analyst II Delivery, you will:
- With a customer service mindset, provide support to multiple business units through the development of strong relationships and business unit acumen. Function as a key point of contact for CS&O business units, providing guidance and escalation of issues as appropriate to other team members, internal stakeholders, and/or IT.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and walk-up questions from multiple business units regarding business systems, processes, procedures, and workflows. Resolve moderately complex matters and escalates as appropriate more complex items.
- Utilize best practices in business analysis to develop business cases for moderately complex projects across multiple business units and systems. Business cases will include business requirements, benefits, and cross-business dependencies.
- Develop project plans for assigned work which may include tasks, dependencies, identified conflicts, and the associated mitigation, priorities, and communications.
- Develop the business readiness plans to include change management, development of training and communication plans as well as planning for user acceptance testing, release note development, and go-live support plans.
- Develop and execute user acceptance test cases. Identify a testing approach that balances prudent risk taking with maintaining quality; documents, analyzes, and communicates results of tests.
Additionally, you may:
- Support the improvement team by participating in business area workflow and process reviews for moderately complex projects.
- Support development of business value delivery processes and procedures by drafting documentation, presentations, and training material.
- Mentor team members and business associates in business acumen, workflows, processes, and procedures.
- Work closely with SentryU in the development and delivery of effective learning resources related to process improvement initiatives.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned from time to time.
What it Takes:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of insurance or 401k/retirement products, practices, and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver quality presentations to all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage work priorities; planning and time management skills. Demonstrated critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
- Oral and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated user knowledge of various business software applications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and human relationship skills.
